Views from the front door

Fog in the Valley The South Pennines area is very photogenic and we are lucky to have nice views from the house in all directions. At 1000 feet above sea level, we are regularly above the mist which lingers in the valley. We can be basking in sunshine while the houses half a mile away are in dense fog.
Snow Fields We get quite a lot of snow and when the sun shines as well it can look very beautiful.
Snow on the hills The snow generally lingers on the hills. The Pennine Way will still be under snow on this day.
